If there was dollar beer at IBA, I wouldn't mind every game being played there, even with my crappy seat assignment.

I really question the intelligence of an hour and a half of nearly free beer before a basketball game. They've never needed a promo to get fans out to see WSU in Omaha (it really isn't a rivalry, it's just coincidence that they always get their biggest crowds for WSU). That game is almost a guaranteed sellout every year.

So why the (nearly) free beer? It's not needed to get people to the game. The only thing it can accomplish is to guarantee about 5,000 drunk fans by game time. 5,000 drunks in a confined space doesn't seem like a real good idea.

Creighton has had a lot more empty seats at their games this year. Even the Missouri State game the other day had a lot of empty seats. I think they just want to make sure there are NO EMPTY seats for WSU.
