Ill wait and get it off my chest at the game....the 800lb gorilla in the room is hoping this team can win at CU, MSU , Ill st. and N.Iowa...probably nothing creating more anxiety than waiting for those first road games. It requires a mind set change...a belief....an attitude.
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

MSU @ CU - second half scoring
          MSU - 47
          CU - 26

          That's the definition of S-U-C-K. M

MSU now has roadies against UNI and CU. That's a tough act to follow.

An impressive start by SMS, but they are also a team that could trip up against an Indiana State, Illinois State or similar teams...IMO.

But until they do or we win at UNI and CU, you can look at their current record as a 2-game advantage over us.

We all say that its best for this league if the top two teams run away with the conference. It looks like that is happening. All the Shocks can do is take care of their own buisness.

I'll take a 3-0 Valley start with the three wins being by 16, 19 and 34 points, that's a 23 point margin of victory average.

Absolutely. Let's enjoy this... until Friday. As cliche as it is, it's one game at a time, and we haven't had a start this good in a while. Who knows what will happen on Friday and Sunday or the rest of the season--but I like our chances.

This is the first time the Shockers have started 3-0 where every win was by double digits according to Kennedy.

MSU looks freakin' good. Scary good.

Love it when the sCUm sinks to the bottom. You can say that a million times a day and I will never get tired of it.

The CU - MSU game is replaying now on FS Midwest.

Looks like Cox22 isn't the only one with the low res zoom issue.

I hate to say it, but so are we.

MSU is definitely a leg up on the Shocks at this point with the wins at UNI and Creighton plus their home win over Illinois State.

The Shocks have three impressive wins, 2 at home, over teams likely to finish well down in the MVC standings.

Shocks RPI now at 42. Missouri State is now at 43.

I hope the Shocks and MSU both separate from the rest league and meet in the MVC Tournament Championship game which would give the MVC its best shot at multiple spots in the MVC. MSU is off to a great start in making the happen. The Shocks show perhaps the highest ceiling of any MVC team, but the Shocks, while winning impressively, have accomplished quite a bit less in our 3 games then MSU has. Still a lot of work ahead of the Shocks.

On the plus side for the Shockers is that I think we are still growing as a team. Garrett, Gabe, Ben, Joe and D-Will are all playing good ball and seem to comortable coming off the bench. Actually, Graham, DK and Toure are in mild slumps right now. We get them going again, which will happen, then look out.

Shocks quality depth should serve them well the deeper we go into the 18-game MVC season and should also be a big advantage in the MVC Tournament.

I'm thinking the best two teams in the valley aren't WSU and MSU. It could very well be WSU's 1st team and second team, though MSU could be right in there.
