I guess I am just turning into a bitchy little whining girl in my old age.


For all the talk of the "great" WSU fans....more than 4000 tickets remain for this game.

Will there be more at the first Thunder game that opened the arena?


While I understand there is no Joan of Arc Bluejay Discount plan to sit in the upper bowl (instead of $Free-$10 tickets try finding one for less than $26 plus the insufferable and punitive "service fees"...fee for what service exactly? I am doing all the work.....can you imagine a service fee to shop at Walmart?) and it's 4 days away from Christmas in a terrible local economy where it was recently announced unemployment has jumped to 8.6%, still I ask, where is all the great fan support?

Tulsa is not an opponent to inspire the casual fan. It gets the die hards from yesteryear fired up, but they are already your primary fan base.

I hear ya’ Doc… embarrassing to say the least. I’m also disappointed in the marketing of this game. IBA does a great job marketing the big acts; however they seem to have missed the boat with this event. :(

I'll admit the only reason i am excited for this game is I remember the Seals years when Tulsa was really good.

With that said if we dont win handily then I may drink myself to death.

Tulsa is horrible. And yes people are excited about this team because of what once was.

I'd heard yesterday on one of the local radio news blurbs that the game was getting close to a sell-out...and may set the new record for attendance at IBA.

Did that news team just get done covering a legalize it forum, or are the ticket sales looking better than thought?

I was just poking around on the ticketing site, and unless you want either the $102 courtside seats or the random single seats, upper deck ends up near the top are the best I'm getting. So maybe it will be a sellout?

There had been reports earlier that IBA was anticipating a sellout. The reports of 3,500 remaining seats were from December 17 (http://www.kansas.com/2010/12/17/163...or-tigers.html). Between pre-game sales since then and walk-up traffic, I don't think attendance will be a problem.

Oops, I was just noting that Heights doesn't play Tuesday evening... assuming several local recruits would be attending the game.
