2-1 at a star studded Maui Tournament

At least 2 really bad loses last year keep us out and they weren't to UConn type teams: read Drake, Evansville.

We didn't beat #2 Michigan State last year and #8 Kentucky, and we are not in the Big East, and we didn't have a marquee player that every media person in the world would slobber over. All the difference in the world.

I really don't think Virginia looks that good and will be 100-150 RPI team when it's all said and done = No RPI boost.

UConn up big at half, if they pull out the win the top half of the bracket would be 4-0 against the bottom half. Could it be said that the three best teams were UCONN, Michigan St, WSU?

Sadly 100-150 RPI team will be a boost compared to our home non-con slate as well as the valley dumping down their legs right now.....

One of the questions coming into this tourney was: Is it better to beat a suspect, possibly weak, UConn the 1st game, most likely lose the second and possibly the 3rd and go 1-2 or lose to UConn and win the next two games going 2-1.

Well, if UConn continues to do what they're doin' now, that a tough question. Particularly given how we saw the Shocks play after a tough loss and how they screamed back in the VA game. These are things we normally haven't seen in Shocker teams.

Yeah, just because Bilas (and you can't spell Bilas without Bias) couldn't see the obvious, lots of people saw this tournament and most will recognize that we played UCONN better than anyone else (and every team UCONN played won their other two games).

Maybe a little home cooking. That's OK as DK could very well become pretty well known nationwide before it's all done. Everybody I talked to was happy for Chaminade's win. I obviously didn't talk to any OU fans today.
