Nice bullet for our resume. Now we need to add some more.

Virginia and Chaminade are unfortunately not bullets for the resume..

Way too early to tell re: Virginia. Could turn out to be a 'bullet' if they compete decently in the ACC and pull off a random upset or two which is entirely possible.

I was trying to put some good spin on it, Fever. Humor me.

No but loses to them would have blown our resume completely apart with those bullets.

Shox didn't capitalize, but if UConn continues to play well it at least won't look like a "bad loss" come selection sunday. We have GOT to avoid bad losses even more-so now since we won't have many "good wins" to counter them with. Avoid the bad losses and there is a chance.

UConn has the ability to be a RPI boost for us! :posterwu: 8)

Well even Virginia will be a RPI boost because of the ACC. I just want to see UConn be a tourney team on selection sunday. That would keep them out of the "bad loss" category.

Question? Would it have been better to beat UCONN then loose to MSU then loose to WU as oppose to doing what we did? I'm not an RPI expert by any means just want your guys thoughts...

(Not saying the Shox would have lost both of those games just wondering)
If you're not going to go all the way, why go?

If they win tonight they would have to crap their bed badly in conf. play to be excluded. The win tonight would be everything they need plus a top 4 or 5 finish in the Big East.

At least 2 really bad loses last year keep us out and they weren't to UConn type teams: read Drake, Evansville.

Hard to say since it's at a neutral court. If they were road games then yes, the RPI impact would probably be better.

We didn't beat #2 Michigan State last year and #8 Kentucky, and we are not in the Big East, and we didn't have a marquee player that every media person in the world would slobber over. All the difference in the world.

I was wondering the same. Didn't realize UConn would be this good.
