I just looked at them - it is really slim pickings. Hawaii is 4-0 ... maybe we play two teams from the island state this year. ;-)

It was a game we could have and should have won, SHOX. That's the frustrating thing. You have a good argument too. But a good loss still is ... a loss.. And this is a team that NEEDS quality WINS.

.. Hawaii? How sweet would it be to get a WAC team in here?
      Deuces Valley.
      ... No really, deuces.

Connecticut just beat the #2 and #9 ranked (blow out) teams and the unanimous preseason Valley #1 pick in three days. They will jump straight into the top-10.

Here's the deal folks and you can take this to the bank. Let's just assume we don't win the MVC Tournament (which history points as a high probability), we WILL still make the NCAA's IF we do not have one bad loss. We can still lose to SDSU, but if we run the non-con schedule sans SDSU and win the MVC regular season wihtout one bad loss and make it to the championship game of the MVC Tourney we are in. Bad losses are at-large killers for mid-majors with no SOS helping them out.

This is a fun team to watch! I just watched Drake play USU, and while they looked Pretty good, WSU is exciting! Enjoy the ride.

agreed. its not so much big wins but bad losses that keep quality "mid-major" schools out. thats the reason wsu had no chance at an at-large bid last year. the margin for error is small.

As I've said at least twice on this subject, VCU is the team I'd like to see in the Bracket Buster, barring some major change in who is performing well by that point in the season.
