Outside of the floor, I think they nailed exactly what makes college basketball venues great.

Wow, that's indoors?

I really thought they were playing in the middle of the forest at sunset and the trees were casting picturesque shadows on the court, adding a lovely aura to the surroundings and experience.

Still waiting for E.T.s ship to come blasting out of the shadows and fly across the sky leaving a symbolic rainbow for all of the patrons.

My brother in law says that most of the money went into locker rooms, weight facilities which he said are huge, and training rooms with hot and cold therapy tubs and every medical/physical therapy type equipment available. He says it is state of the art in every aspect. I like the way that it is so steep it keeps the crowd close to the action but the older crowd at CKA would have a fit if they had to navigate anything outside of the lower seats. I know my wife couldn't with her fear of heights.

I like it... That place has a bunch of up side from an atmosphere perspective. Obviously the court is odd, but I bet it looks better in person... The student section is terrific as well.

I bet that arena is Insanely loud......if it was packed with shocker fans.......duck fans don't get as excited.

The seats look as if they are almost ontop of the floor, a sure way to tell if an arena is loud or not IMO.

Oregon versus UCLA. That it one ugly court. The only thing uglier is Ben Howland's future at UCLA.
