Here is a photo of it being installed.

Frankly, that looks better than the finished product. I would get dizzy watching a game on this floor, let alone players having to play a game on it. Maybe the crazy colors won't have an effect on the home team (once they get used to it), just all the visiting teams.

If channel 22 would broadcast a game from their court, you probably wouldn't even notice the floor!

The size of the "light area" is roughly the same size as the Jayhawk up in Lawrence (not that I like that design). I don't think the different shades of wood will be as distracting as the red and blue giganto bird at KU.

I find it interesting that a brand new, $277 million arena would have some bench seats (albeit not too many). What did they spend that much money on? The new, ugly floor? LOL

IMO, the bench seats just 'de-class' the whole arena. Koch arena looks a lot better, and for a 1/10 of the price!!!
