If any of you are in the DC check out the calendar for shows at the Marine Barracks at 8th & I. Not only do the Marines have a more involved silent drill ceremony but the Marine Corps Band also plays. The complex also houses the Commandant of the Marine Corps home which is the oldest continuously inhabited residence in the DC area. The chance of getting them to perform would be slim and none and slim just left town.Comment

I am not sure this is halftime material per se (although I have seen these guys perform at a sporting event) and I am not even sure this act still exists, but one idea I have had for awhile was the "Real Men of Genius" act. Plenty of appropriate sports-related material too.
