I think we all know how likely it is that KSU will ever play WSU. Not impossible, but not likely.
MU agreeing to play MUS is WAAAAYY less likely than KSU vs. WSU. Mizzou playing Misery State is about as likely as KU playing WSU.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I think it's even less likely than it was before the recent re-alignment saga, when KSU and MU were looking like the 11th and 12th members of the MVC. They have to maintain the facade for Mother Texas, so she will keep them in the herd.

As much as my feelings towards K-State are just a few notches above "couldn't care less," I do like their coach Martin. Additionally, he seems like the kind of guy that doesn't get caught up in the politics and nuances saving face when scheduling. He's more like a "bring it on" kind of guy.
I think we'll see K-State and WSU play in the near future.
