And now a second domino falls into the guilty pool, another Assistant AD.

To this point, the Chancellor may want to fire him, but she can't. She's got bupkis. Yes, Lew can be a major, major jerk, but he's done it in the best intersts of his employer. The results are, donations are up, ticket sales are up, a national championship and a BCS bowl game have been won, he's recieved numerous awards for athletic management and administration -- many of them from his peers.

From the article:
Jim Marchiony, a Kansas associate athletics director, said Perkins had been talking to Olin about a possible position for about two years.
Olin has been Lawrence's police chief since December 1987. He'll make $115,000 a year in his new position, slightly more than his city salary of $112,863.
So, now KU "creates" a position for the former chief of police and pays $115,000 a year for something they evidently didn't need until this year? The former police chief gets A RAISE IN PAY?
Can somebody please find some lawyers and judges who didn't graduate from KU and bounce these beakers in front of a grand jury? If there's nothing fishy going on, then how come we can smell the rotting fish all the way down the turnpike in Wichita? The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
