I wonder if the NCAA is working on a new rule, perhaps even named after KU, that would limit some of these gray areas?
No fight, just observing. I'm only saying it wouldn't surprise me if the NCAA came out with a rule that said something to the effect of you can't hire an AAU or family member of a player you recruit within say 2 or 3 years of the kid being at the school.

Wouldn't matter. KU would find a way around it. Afterall, they have to uphold that proud 60-year tradition of cheating.
Making more rules just makes it easier for them to maintain the streak of decades in which they are put on probation.

The thing that really pulled one me was that I remember after The NCAA took away two scholarships after the last ncaa investigation... But the thing that really stood out was KU soon announced that Brady Morningstar would be PAYING HIS OWN TUITION.
I remember saying to a friend, "You mean KU IS?"
Now we know how.
Im sure the NCAA will just totally miss over this though..."Coach Marshall,We will be at Creighton at least 15 hours in advance!"
CGM--->"Hell yea, and we'll beat their ass."

The NCAA is in constant fear of CBS not liking their $6 billion product and therefore they will refuse to penalize KU.
CBS cares even less about student-athletes than the NCAA. I know, you didn't think that was possible. Well, it is. The NCAA is only interested in maintaining its greedy monopoly so that all its employees and executives can travel around in first-class style to sporting events, conventions, seminars and junkets of all types.
How does penalizing KU help CBS and the NCAA chase the almighty dollar? It doesn't. It's really that simple.

The funny thing about that is, spin doesn't fly too well in the Grand Jury room.
He'll get pinned down to details, under oath, and ANY discrepancy later will mean perjury charges. The big man is in HOT HOT water.
I think there is an App State video that could be referenced here.

It doesn't pass the smell test. While there may not be a crime, I am pretty sure AD Perkins is guilty of an ethics lapse."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."
