K-State actually lasted a game longer at the Dance than I picked them. Thus, they had a solid all around year and I want to play them sooner than later. Today though, a younger team seem to execute better, and hustled for the bounds and lose balls like they wanted this win more. Butler dictated the pace and somehow held K-State's very good guards to a very mild roar.

How many folk picked Butler to the Final 4 in their bracket? And the Final 4 is in their home State? Yikes!!! In my Bracket, I picked Kentucky to beat KU in the final. K-State avoided the Cuse and KU but just could not put things together today.

If it wasn't for spats like BCSBrat, I might've pulled for the Kittens, since they're the only Sunflower school left. I do like Frank Martin and his abilities and I do like how most of the Kittens play the game. However, the misguided arrogance that Kitten fans seem to take with them everywhere is what determined the team I was rooting for.

Actually, ol Wooly really ticked me off in the 03-04 season. After the Shox lost to K St by only 4 at Manhattan to go 2-2 in the home-home series, Wooly came out to say that the series wouldn't be continued. He said something like K St had nothing to gain or some sort of condescending comment. Little did he know (or maybe he did), we'd be heading to the NIT and NCAA S16 the next two years.

I, too, have gained a lot of respect for Frank Martin. Maybe he'll see some value in playing the Shox.

When was the last time you had a Regents funded building? Have you ever seen a Regents meeting? (They're a great cure for insomnia.)
