I am a Butler fan and I have to say not many coaches have impressed me like Frank Martin.

I think, like many when he was hired, that KSU was just getting an AAU coach that would get guys and just role out the ball.

I couldn't have been any more wrong.

On top of that, he is utterly accountable, doesn't offer up excuses, and actually grasped the magnitude of what Butler in the Final Four in Indianapolis means (not many can see from someone else's eyes)

Frank Martin is my favorite coach in college basketball that I dont have a rooting interest in his team.

K-State beats Butler IF Frank Martin hadn't had to restrict his language at half-time due to allowing camera in the locker room. The cats were only a few select ass chewings from victory. Just a couple more kids having to examine the flooring to avoid eye contact!

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

So sorry but K-Staters like me just don't feel shorted by the Regents and if we did I doubt we would whine about it but instead would find a way to do something about it.

Anyway I just started this thread to say congratulations to Butler, not discuss the Regents. So, again, great game by the Bulldogs and I'm still proud om our Wildcats. Great season with even better times ahead.
Now I see why you guys hate him.
See what I mean? He's always been the Goddard Douche. And that is why I cheered loudly every time Gordon Hayward sliced through the weak Kitty defense for an easy, back-breaking layup. And then watching the Kitties take their jerseys off on the court.. Ah, I loved it!

Ah WheatShocker Fever. Nice to see you back.

I still haven't heard any specific examples of all the awful things the Board of Regents has done to KSU, or for that matter, WSU.

I can only conclude one of the following:

                1. You have some misconception that Butler fans grace this board
                2. You think Shocker Fans are Butler fans for at least an evening
                3. Your an idiot

I read all this expecting to hear again how K-State wouldn't play Butler because they had nothing to gain from it. Everyone knows that Butler is inferior like all mid-majors, right?

I mean, if you win, you go to the Final Four. How do you not gain from that? See how flawed that BCS BS thinking is?

I'm here because you said I would not be when the 'Cats lost. I know your meds may cause some memory loss but c'mon. You said it and that's why I posted. Besides Butler played a great game and is a great story.

Ya know, let's just start a series so when can really have fun!

                        Amen! I'm sure we'd do a four-year series.

                        Next year @ IBArena
                        Year 2 @ Bramlage
                        Year 3 @ Koch Arena
                        Year 4 @ Sprint Center

                            No just rumors right now

Actually we need some non-con home games for next year so I'm guessing the first game will be at the Bram. We are already playing in Sprint in the CBE and there has been talk of moving the UNLV game from there to Intrust. Please don't shoot the messenger but a game in Koch not being discussed from what I hear. But who knows.

Prediction: Both KU and KSU will play their first non-con games at IBA against a team other than the Shockers.

BCScat .... Not all of the posters on here have an inbred hatred of KU or K-State, and personally, I think anyone that can not let go of hatred towards something has the real problem (short of hating someone that seriously hurt a family member of yours.)

Most of those who share this mundane pettiness are just p***ed off because WSU seems to be treated like a red headed stepchild in many aspects, but b****ing and bickering about it constantly does absolutely nothing to change it.

I think the strides that K-State has made since Martin has been the coach have been great for the program up there, and the future looks just as bright.
Personally, I like to look at the bigger picture, and am proud of all 3 schools accomplishments. When was the last time all 3 schools logged more than 25 wins in the same season?
