  • Congrats to Butler

I said I would be here. Here I am. Great game by Butler - I just told the wife they pulled a Jack Hartman on us.

But, I'm proud of my 'Cats and next year will be great too. A big loss with Clemente but Freddie Aspirilla will be a beast down low.

    So flame away...........

I dont know why you have this affect on some of our posters...but kuddos to a hell of a season by K-State. They are a tough minded team and are led by a coach everyone can respect and admire.....good luck next year.

Why are you here, shouldn't you be on Butler's board congradulating them?

Anyway, I'm happy for the Butler win if for not other reason but proving to all the a-hole BCS'ers out there that yes mid majors when given the proper seeding can make the Final 4 with a shot at the title.

No need to flame. Great season by the Cats. The whole tourney I was thinking how impressive it was we played you guys so tough in the scrimmage. Would love to see a series immediately.

Nice run by K-State. At times today they looked a step slow. Perhaps the Xavier game left them a little spent. Who knows.

Getting to the Elite 8 is huge. Much better than some other elite programs. Ahem.

I tried and for whatever reason I can't post even though I registered. I told a certain poster here that seems to take offense to anything Purple that I would be here if we lost so that's why I'm here. Frankly, I would love Butler if we didn't play them. What a great story they are.

Oh well, on to spring football.....

I have to say that the K-State players and staff had a great year. One step from the final four is a great achievement. I was rooting for Butler because they are the mid-major, but I have a new respect for K-State and Frank Martin. Good luck in the future Kitties!!! Except when playing the Shocks!!!

                    No flaming from me.

I had K-State in my Final Four. I was surprised they lost. But that doesn't take away from them having had a great season. I'm sure we would have loved to be playing for a spot in the Final Four.

I don't think there's anything you said that's flame-worthy. K-State had a heck of a season, one which ended at a much, much higher level than anyone outside of Manhattan would have guessed.

If K-State fans just keep their nose down out of the stratosphere, and don't turn into KU fanboy lite, everything will be just dandy.

                            Frank's quote from post game

"These kids have made a lot of people live for something again. They've made K-Staters around this country believe in them, believe in a program, believe in their school, stick their chest out. That's a heck of a lot more important than winning and losing a game. Their approach, their belief, their commitment has revived our program, has revived K-Staters across the country to take tremendous pride in our team.

                            Gezus I love this guy.

I had the Cats in my final four as well and really believed they had a chance to make it all the way with the right bounces. I appreciate the K-State team. They play hard and work their tails off. Will be tough again next year ... when there are three Kansas teams in the tournament.
