    Hello Shocker friends

I'm not sure who you meant but Jackie Carmichael plays for ISU and not SIU.
Completely unecessary post, but Carmichael is a very nice player. He will be fun to watch...against Creighton.

Not an article, but members of sportsjournalists.com starting discussing Gregg.

Rumor/report out of Eugene that Ernie Kent is out at Oregon, leaving as the program's all-time winningest coach. Why do I not envy the guy who replaces...

Someone referenced using a speaker phone for an interview. ;-)

Another poster hit the nail on the head with one of his comments.
All of that said, he's good for the MVC if for no other reason than every other coach in the league has a personality that competes with drywall in terms of being interesting.

These guys as a general rule can't stand coaches.

Nifty move by Butler. They get completely out of playing the BracketBusters game on the road and then get back in again as a home team in '12.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Yup. Getting the exemption is one thing, but allowing them back in the following year as a home team is going a little far. Guess the powers in charge of the BB know how to get on their knees and suck up.

LOL...was this some kind of joke? He'll never warm a bench in the NBA....maybe Europe.

                Quote of the day:

Creighton finished the 2009-10 season with an 18-16 record and made a 13th straight postseason appearance.
I'm sorry, did I miss something? I thought Creighton fans said the CBI and CIT didn't count as postseason when we made it...

This is the same thing Cooz did prior to his senior year.

                      Stinnet is gone:

Leaves room for one new player at Creighton. Grant Gibbs, a transfer from Gonzaza is a possibility. UNI is very much in the running for him also. We have an old thread on him as the Shockers were involved in the early part of his recruiting out of high school.

I saw that. Leaving a nice little "FU" to Creighton on this Facebook page...classic P'uke.

Now as the ultimate kick in the nuts, I hope he walks on at WSU. With his dislike for Creighton, he might fit in rather nicely here.

In this case, it appears to be a sad present as well.

Well he does have 3 years of a high quality private school education. I'm thinking he never graduates from anywhere, plays ball in Europe and eventually finds himself back in the old hood broke and looking to make the next big score.
