MLA please. I have Never used APA so far in high school.
You are both wrong. Chicago Manual of Style is clearly superior to both MLA and APA.

Then you would really appreciate Turabian Style. We digress?

I have my copy of Turabian's not 2 feet away from me at this very moment, but yes, we digress.

wsushox1, young grasshopper, you will write in APA in college. Bank on it.

I have written in APA, MLA, and Turabian. Chicago is the only one I've never had to endure. All are developed to give English teachers and profs something to belabor endlessly.

The last version of the APA guide had so many errors they had to offer free replacement copies to the suckers who had to buy it. Like me. Kind of funny that something used to be a stickler for accuracies had so many inaccuracies itself. No worries here, my grad degree is done this semester! WOO-HOO!!!

Is this the basketball forum, or the writing styles forum? Does ESPN have a writing styles page?

Already there. Have been a SASO contributor for several years now. This will be my second masters degree, so apparently I'm a glutton for academic punishment.

Actually, this degree is to help solidify my resume for what I'm actually doing now as a teacher. I've gone a long ways from being a band director.

Turabian isn't actually it's own style, it is just a popular condensed guide to the Chicago Style, written by Kate L. Turabian, the University of Chicago's dissertation secretary, in 1937 as a guide manual for students (and since updated by others).

If ESPN had a writing styles page, it committed suicide after reading the comments on the story about the KU loss.

Am I the only one on this forum that actually had to write papers at my time at WSU, complete with references to back things up?

This is a message board. Around here conjecture, hearsay and third-person accounts are the ONLY things that make the world go 'round.

As a student / faculty, you can download a free copy of End Note from your MyWSU account. It will automatically format your citation into APA...or whatever other inferior format you choose.

His compensation is in excess of 1M.
                              Source?

You seem to have a much higher opinion of your WSU Athletic Department "connectedness", than I think most of us share. A lack of concrete evidence here would prove that only further.
                              What's the deal Ricky?

I believe Dr. Wu is correct.

The actual amount was never reported, I don't believe.

And I believe it is around $1 million per annum.
There's oodles of actual, relevant search results showing talk of $750K or even $800K, not the least of which are from our own school's AD website, and an AP article on ESPN, as I linked earlier.

There's nothing out there, outside of fan-driven hearsay, that supports $1M.

Given, the reports and links supporting the smaller figures are 3 years old now, but in spite of our high opinion and outlook for HCGM, what in the world has he done in those 3 years to garner a significant pay increase?
And even those references say the $750/800K are a base salary.

What's so tough to understand that incentives, camps, radio, etc. boost that up?

Turg got a nice extension right after the Sweet 16 year along with a bump in salary. If the right school comes along, he's gone.
ShockerFever has this correct, Where does the new raise put him in pay compared with other Valley Coaches? I could go look it up but I'm guessing someone here has it very handy.
