Joe Lunardi just talked on ESPN. He had eight teams on the list, he could only choose 4 to make the tourny. he had Wichita St. on the out list, BUT this means we have moved up to one of the FIRST FOUR OUT! He said though that we had an good chance of making it by just winning today.

Well Shox RPI is up to 43 and will likely go up today regardless of if we win or not. Also our schedule strength is up to 111, and could possibly get into the top 100 today playing UNI who has an RPI of 21.

We would need every team who is supposed to win their conference tournaments to do so, and some teams like UCONN etc who are squarely on the bubble to blow it in their conference tournaments...

WSU current RPI is 43. A loss and it will still be around 40-44 depending how things pan out for the rest NCAA. If WSU wins WSU RPI would jump up around to the mid-30's.

For those who think WSU has no chance at an at-large, I think they speak with more emotion than rationale thought. I don't think it is that cut and dried. WSU position is very precarious and admittedly they are not in as good of position had they won a couple more games good. Here is 5 team, 2 are considered last in, and 3 are consider the last out?

the committee will not conisder WSU with the losses to evansville and creighton - there's too many other bubble teams with barely worse RPIs and much better SOSs that don't have that bad of losses
