I came to St. Louis believing 2 things. 1. Stutz wasn't quite ready for prime time. 2. DW has some potential, but would not be ready to lead this team next year. Both these kids have grown up before our eyes the past two days. DW was nothing short of brilliant both games, and I'm surprised he wasn't in the game late on Saturday. This team can be his next year, and suddenly I feel very badly that Matt Brauer won't be here to coach him!

I imagine Coach Marshall did not want a freshman on the floor at cruch time.

You only get two years as a graduate assistant. He'll be an assistant coach somewhere.

Except as a very short time requirement, Kenny will never be a 2 guard. Never.

This has been a 'Season to remember' but difficult to 'stay focused' on the "big picture" along the way. This Coaching Staff can develop players. I can't think of one player that has not improved over last Season. Thus, we have exceeded our expectations already and are far from finished this Season. However, a loss at Evansville clouded the "big picture" only to now know it was not a 'period' to our Season and our rising Program, but rather just a 'comma' of a setback of a fork in the road before us to places we 'long to and Will' revisit. My hat is off to our players for working hard and staying focused and to our Coaching Staff for building the foundations that Shocker fans are to relish both now and in the future. 25 wins is not 'chopped liver' and we will be digging, prospecting, scatching, claiming, and clawing for gold with all of our efforts for more because this IS SHOCKER COUNTRY!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
