Has anyone heard anything about his status for today? An old man came into the restroom after the game and said "he's reinjured his spleen". He did ask to come out of the game in the last seconds.

I have NEVER gotten one. Not saying that I couldn't have been pulled over a time or two, though.

Your typing words on a computer, there is no way for us to tell if you stuttered or not.

Seriously now, has anyone who isn't a nitwit heard anything about DW's health?

We spoke with DW at breakfast this morning. He took a blow to the gut, no foul call. He is fine and will play today.

I'm in St Louis and several Shocker fans were talking about this over breakfast. So a buddy texted Lynn and found out it's not true...as far as she knows, which is good enough for me at this point I guess.

That is kind of the kettle calling the pot black, don't you think?

Starting unsubstantiated rumors on an internet message board is the height of "nitwitedness" in my opinion.

GM telling everyone on the radio that DW was going to the doctor after being slugged in the gut is not exactly an unsubstantiated internet rumor. I was also wondering his status for this morning.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

At the risk of being denigrated for asking this question, here goes:

Did anyone see the incident where DW was punched in the gut? Was the puncher Ricks?

I ask because very early in the game one ref called Ricks and DW together for what appeared to be a clean-it-up warning and the look on DW's face was one of wonder and amazement. That was so early, it doesn't seem like that would be the cause for him to ask out of the game near its end.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I heard HCGM say that as well and was wondering about it. Hope the reports from Shocker fans mentioned above are accurate and that DW is fine.
