i try to look at the product and performance that he (stutz) is putting on the court in a shocker uniform (without the gold and black shaded sunglasses that most who can't find a single thing negative to say about stutz tend to wear), rather then the glitz & glamour that goes into high school recruiting rankings that so many hold on to for far to long when a player is obviously not as good as advertised

I wonder because you're looking forward to a "good 7-footer" coming in next year. You clearly haven't been paying attention to the EO thread. If you're disappointed in Stutz, I can't wait until you're complaining that we're playing 4 on 5 on offense.

Mr. Stutz is WSU's leading rebounder per minute played garnering .271 rebounds per minute (aside from Felter who is .308 in only 13 minutes); Blair is next at .231.
Mr. Stutz is WSU's leading scorer per minute played at .463 pts per minute; Durley is .462 and Hannah is .408.
Mr. Stutz grabs a larger percentage of available offensive rebounds at 13.6% than any other Shocker (except Felter at 15.4% in 13 minutes); nest ebst offensive rebounder is Blair at 11.0% of the offensive rebounds available to him.
Forpercentage of defensive rebounds available to grab, Mr Stutz is third at 17.7%, trailing Blair at 18.4% and Durley at 17.8%.
Statistically , I find it very difficult to believe in your comments, let alone justify them."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. and i would like to see what percentage of his points come off dunks - i'm sure you'd be much less impressed after you saw that stat
now if he was just smart enough to not foul every 30 seconds or in shape enough that he could play more then 5 minutes at a time, those per minute averages might actually mean something too

Shocksrox...you've officially been served!
On match point.
I'm one of those who leans toward "if you can't say something good, sometimes it's best not to say anything at all", but I'm pretty happy to have a So post coming off the bench who's # 5 on the team in scoring at 7.0 ppg, and # 4 on the team in rebounding at 4.1 per game.
That's quality depth and that's all Stutz is expected to be or supposed to be this year.
The ESPN announcers were commenting on what a monster he's likely to be by his Sr year.
If Stutz was having the kind of year that some fans think he should be having, he'd be a first-round NBA pick after this year. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

How far away from the basket does one have to be before the two points count?
Shall we take away all dunks from the Shockers and reduce our record to 14-15? Makes sense to me!"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:
