Well not exactly a real good half for the Shockers, except for doing enough in the last 2 minutes to pull it out.

Those refs were as bad as PAC-10 refs and PAC-10 refs shouldn't be allowed to officiate high school games. They wouldn't let Stutz play any defense.

Not a great game by any stretch, but just enough to win.

Hatch works too hard not to get it back. No worries!

Agree with the disparity with Stutz, let the boy play some ball and get his rhythym. I just know he will dominate before it's all said and done. He has more of a killer instict then Miller ever had, and I loved Miller!

right now ill take enough...we havent had enough lately against 2 weaker opponents....dribble penetration is still a problem as is post defense and offense. I think our man to man isnt good enough to play all the time...
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

I think Stutz will be a monster in coming years, he's showing flashes of it this year.

Once Stutz gets a chance to be on the floor for more than a few minutes at a time, his potential will be realized. I am a big believer in the kid! A little improvement on the lateral movement, along with natural maturity, and it's on!

I've believed in GS all along. Hard to imagine what it will be like when GS is a Senior and EO a Junior. They will totally dominate the Valley.

Good game, Shox. Showed why you're #2 and we're now flirting with the play-in

Whatever comes of this year, so be it. We're young and will no doubt make huge strides. I for one am excited about the future. Need to save some money for the Hawaii trip. Gotta be there!

Thanks MSU, I had doubts but we toughed it out. I dont think you'll be in the play in round and prefer not to face you in ST Louis. :posterwu: 8)

gotta give some props to D Williams for some decent play tonight. I've been down on him lately and he filled in some solid minutes for Hannah, even made a nice 3 pointer. Hatch, on the other hand, has got to regain his shooting touch. Played a decent game but we really need him to be able to knock down the 3 every now and then.

Well, unfortunately alot of the same concerns are still around...BUT I'll take the win as usual.

And the Missouri St kid in section 118 was ANNOYING...just saying.

This is Shocker Country and we just beat a solid and motivated team. We worked the ball inside better, drew many more fouls than usual, and hung tough. We did have a chance to make several chip shots and missed several that kept them alive. We outrebounded them by 8 which was much needed. We are now 21-6 on a Season that I predicted 21 overall wins preseason. We are far from done!!!!!!! Have the Shocks ever had many undefeated home Seasons in times past?
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
