Why didn't you or anybody tell him to STFU? Or at least pull on his mullet?

If i were anywhere close to him I would of made him feel pretty uncomfortable. :) But he was like 15 rows behind me. I heard a couple people and some of the band members tell him to "STFU". Literally.

The kid in question was about 10 years old tops. Quite a few people told him to shut up but it seemed the more they did the louder he got. It was annoying but no more than the dumba$$es that shush the crowd with a long loud SHHHHH before every home freethrow. Somehow they don't think that their SHHHHH is audible to the rest of the world.

I do agree with what someone else said about Durley. He's lost something and hopefully he can find it. He missed quite a few gimmie shots tonight. And then if he doesn't start going stronger to the hoop when he gets the ball he's going to continue to struggle and be stripped of the ball. He's got to get more aggressive again.

It was a fun game at home. Nice win shockers. We are going to peak at the right time. But i still think we are going to have to pick it up on offense. Have we ever shot 40 free throws in a game before? You would think it would have been close to a record for us. On the road we don't get 15. Just shows why its so hard to win on the road in the Valley.

Easy to make alot of blanket judgements after watching just one game. I think anyone that watches one game and sees the FT discrepancy would think the same thing.

I wasn't sure If I was watching basketball or a hockey game for awhile there. Bodies strewn all over the floor. That's some scrappy, hardcore 1990's style basketball for you right there. I thought I was watching Ewing and the Knicks play Alonzo Mourning and the Heat play some playoff basketball again.

Must say I enjoyed the effort by both teams. They left alot of skin on the floor tonight. I bet there's alot of sore knees and elbows on both WSU and Missouri State players tonight.

Would never want to make excuses for JT, but he did look like his hamstring was still bothering...or he is just not able to move anymore.

                    • We should have shot 80 free throws. I cannot stand that style of "basketball".

                      • MSU fouled a lot b/c WSU was beating them to positions and blowing by them. They had to foul.

Not only that by, it looked to me that MSU made the conscious decision to get very physical. Not surprising with Coach Martin's Purdue background. It was a battle to see who could impose their will on the other team. Hard to believe MSU is 7-8. They look better than that to me. Plus teams fighting to stay out the play-in round can be pretty motivated.

I thought the team had pretty good energy. The movement on offense was as good as it has been this year (especially in the 1st half) and the +10 in rebounding was big. The biggest problem is we just missed way too many bunnies. I thought the guys played hard and smart overall. Did not shoot the ball great. JT was not great. Toure (5) and JT (3) had 8 of our 13 turnovers. Still Toure had a decent overall game.

I thought D-Will had a very solid game. Escpecially compared to his game in Springfield when Ricks ate him up for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I thought Gabe had a good second half. His steal of the kick out pass late in the game was a very big play. His block and save along the baseline was about as good a defensive play as you will see.

Let's keep this up and add a pinch of better shooting and we will be OK.

                              • Interesting stat in that we shoot .455 % from 3-point range and .372 % from 2-point.

Guess the number of bunnies we missed plus the fouls account for most of this discrepancy, but still there is a lot of room for improvement.
