I have no idea what the score will be but the team of Clevin, Toure, Aaron, JT, Hatch, David, Gabe and the rest will win.

I think this team will play with more intensity than they did at Drake...I think they were embarrassed by that performance....Shocks by 9

OK folks - WSU is a 1 point underdog according to Vegas. I think we win by 3 - 76-73 Shocks! We will step up on the road and continue to nip at the heels of Northern Iowa. This isn't the old SIU. That said I hope we don't get homered by the refs with Hannah taken out of the game early.

I really don't understand SIU. With all the supposedly great recruits they have had coming in over the last two years, they should be leading the conference. Wasn't their recruiting class two years ago the best in the history of the school? Isn't Tony Freeman destined to be this year's player of the year?

I know Marshall has yet to beat this team and WSU has lost 11 straight in Carbondale. I also know that they are 2-3 at home this year and we should have won there last year.

I predict MTXE starts five threads if we lose and doesn't post until mid-week if we win.

Unfortunately, I think we'll be looking at new threads. Shox play better than at Drake, but I won't predict a victory at Carbondale until we put three in a row under our belt.

I predict that I'll miss the game (or, at least, the first half) because of family duties (with daughter & grandkids.)

After she got off work yesterday, I took my daughter to the Wichita Fish Company on Douglas (Delano area) and she loved it. You should try it.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Wichita Fish Company is awesome! Not only is it a good place to eat, but each summer I buy a variety of fish (snapper, shark, catfish, salmon...etc) and have a cookout for my whole family. It's a good time and the quality of the fish is outstanding. I miss living close to the coast for the fresh seafood...and this is about as close as I've found around here.

"What if ???????" 'What if' the Shox learn to win such games as tonight's on the road, and then sweep N. Iowa? Nobody but the Shox has beaten N. Iowa thus-far in the Valley. Are we enough past the 'growing pains stage' to take this needed leap of faith? Are our papers and game-plan in order or must we again exclaim " just wait until next Season?"

Do we not have the talent now? If so, do we have the desire and are we tough enough between the ears? To go places we want to go, we HAVE to learn to succeed in the Valley Of Death, on the cold and lonely road. We will only want to go to places we want to go if we are prepared to deal with it when we get there?

Tonight is such a game that can prepare us for the journey we all long for as Shockers. In 8 road Valley games, we have to learn to win at least 4-5 of them. We have already lost 3 road games, so now is the time to right this ship. SIU is always tough to beat at their home every solitary Season. However, Mullins has graduated but yet they still have a young but talented team. A win tonight would be huge for our mental toughness and I hope we can find a way to gain an edge and pull this win off.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Just tell me when (the cookout is) and I'll come over too. ;-) :D

Ever been to the Oregon coast? Ever tried Mo's? http://www.paulnoll.com/Oregon/Touri...s-choices.html

ADDED: I should give props to some good seafood places in the DC & northern Virginia area. Plus northern California. And London. Plus the Scotish coast. OK - throw in the Aussies. And Italy, Germany, Canada, etc. Heck, throw in the whole UN.
