So far I am a Jayballer, a Doublejayalum, a "Cold"?, Matt Perrault, a Nightwatchman, sCUm, and various other entities or body parts that barely make it through the language filter. Why can't I just be MTXE? :/
You forgot douchebag troll.

Basketball Season Tix since '77-78 . . . . . . Baseball Season Tix since '88
Now if you want to talk about efficient player management, take a look at Drake in 2007-2008. They had 9 scholarship players of which 6 were the horses they rode all the way to a Valley Championship. Now that is some coaching!
No doubt now that this is the former Cold. Welcome back. Keep agitating. Don't question anyone's parentage.

Yes, and add to the list: Ann Turgeon, Mark Turgeon and Shirley Schmidt's twin brother.
I can understand differing opinions on issues. I can definitely understand realistic and non-homer viewpoints. I can even understand questioning our progress as a program when need be. But what I don't understand, nor condone is obvious trolling. As mentioned before, it's obvious MTXE is loving the attention he's getting. He picks and chooses which points to argue, as some have smashed him so badly that he just simply ignores them.
I believe trolling is a bannable offense.
At first, it appeared MTXE was just offering differing opinions and outlandish sidepoints. It has become so obvious on so many levels that this guy is in it for the response and lore, not Shocker athletics.
I'm all about opinions and what not, but don't tolerate ANY form of trolling, including the "picking a name that seems like I would be a Shocker fan so I'll get a pass" form.
ShockBand, this guy needs to get axed quickly please.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

My pointing out HCGM's struggles as he adapted to coaching the game with 7 scholarship players when everyone else had 13 were all raised by...
Fixed it.
If I were to respond to all the inaccuracies -no doubt brought on by emotional reaction- that my comments seem to generate, I would be typing for hours. This one was really easy and quick AND came without emotional baggage.

Gotcha.
You were complaining about Marshall's difficulties adjusting to coaching in the Valley the year he had a total of 3-1/2 years of Valley experience available on the entire roster and took the Shox to a 5T finish with Fr, So, transfers, and one Sr.
The year the Shox (during the Valley season) had the longest home winning streak in 20 years.
Gotcha.
My mistake for thinking you were talking about the year before.
It does seem like your counting injured players as players Marshall had available.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

"I don't know if the crowd is "back to normal" yet. There are a nice group of tickets left all over the building on the marketplace. Plenty of general admission as well. It's sad to say this but we may not have a normal (2004-2006) crowd until Texas Tech. If a team like Tech came into our building during Turgeon's Era, CKA would have been hopping like mad.
A lot of hearts were broken after our program made such huge strides backward when Turgeon bailed.
Maybe we could just blame the crowds on the economy... "
I ran across this MTXE quote in the TCU thread and just had to add it over here! I hope it's not premium content.

"Smashed so badly" huh? No doubt!
A list of consecutive names or personal attacks you have levied against me on this thread alone: punkass puddy, tool, ****, jealous insecure and lonely soul, your actual IQ couldn't be more closer to zero, a complete moron, clown, tool.
That is on this thread alone...
And you are calling for me to get "axed"?
Direct your attention to the following posting guideline:
Posts should not contain any of the following content: Personal insults, name-calling or attacks of other posters.
I wouldn't wish for anyone to be banned from their favorite sports forum, and this certainly looks to be your favorite with nearly 8,000 posts. However, you should be the last one calling for anybody's head.
I'm thinking the feverish tone at which you continue to address me is due to the fact that I am perceived by you to be stealing "your" coveted attention. You have made dozens of attempts, fairly weak I might add, to bring me down to your level. I have chosen to pass on all of them in hopes of maintaining at least some potential for cordiality on topics that are highly sensitive yet interesting for me to discuss.
Perhaps now that I have addressed your eternal plea for my attention you can relax?
Like I already said, I'm all for realistic veiwpoints, differing opinions, etc., etc. But trolling is not tolerated.
If you guys can't see the fact that this guy is a troll, then there's no point to me even trying to argue it out for you.
This guy seldom comes here when things are on the uppity. He trashes the players and coaches and is just plain ignorant when it comes to this team and college basketball.
I guess it's better that he not get banned because it actually is pretty fun watching him embarrass himself and get absolutely destroyed in his cute little talking points.

If you ask me what I think of MTXEs posts, the answer is: I don't, and quite frankly neither should you.
If you don't like MTXEs posts, don't read them. Frankly, I haven't even read his posts, but I have read enough of your responses to them to know I don't need to read his... or yours.... I seem to remember quite a bit of reaction to many of your posts last year... but you are still here.
And you both have a right to be here and post... but you are contributing to the clogging of the website with stuff you would be better off ignoring if they annoy you... which is what I plan to do - too bad S/N doesn't have a posting filter like email systems have .... 8)

Who cares?
I don't agree with most of what he says, but he's entitled to post his thoughts the same as everyone else is.

That's the spirit.
Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it should be outlawed.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.
