That was enough to make the call. 8)
the problem i have with the call is, if every time someone does that and its a offensive foul, then people would be fouling out left and right. I looked at the replay, there was no where in the play, where Hannah pushed off. The guy just blew the call, plain and simple.

    • This was in a 20-point win. God help us if this same call occurs in a 1-point loss. Sigh..................

The Refs explanaition is correct. I'd still go with a no call at the point he blew the whistle but Hannah did push off to get around the defender than did in fact jump into him on the shot. I can see the guys line of thinking but if I didn't call the first one which was much more obvious I'm probably passing on the 2nd. To say there was no push off anywhere during the play is ridiculous.

I watched it literally 5 times, all Hannah did was lean his body into him, he did not use his hands to push off at all.

Yes he did. It was about a half-second before the lean in.

            Naturally, Sub nailed it.

Before the lean-in, he pushed off. The ref who was there saw it. A ref on this board saw it. Others on this board saw it.

first off the ref that was there is blind, so he dont count, he was making questionable calls all night. And the others saying it was a good call, well Valley will be calling you soon to officiate some valley games, you are exactly what they are looking for.
