I'm ready to go. I'll start with a little recruiting stuff, because I know people love it. I talked to Marquise Carter of Three Rivers for a Sunday item. He seems to really like WSU, the players and coaches. He mentioned Gonzaga as one of the other schools in contact with him. He said he is keeping his options open, but WSU is in great shape.

I'll say 60 percent (and I'd say 70 if I weren't cautious in recruiting stuff). I think he was close to committing in the fall. Unless something changes, it seems to be a good fit. Things do change, so I'm sure WSU has other options.

I think a 7-0 finish and a loss in the MVC title game would give them a good chance. A 28-6 record on Selection Sunday - if that doesn't get in the MVC needs to do some soul-searching. Can WSU go 6-1 and do it? Maybe. A lot depends on what happens in other conferences. I think the Shockers have a much better chance to do well in St. Louis this season. They may make all this irrelevant.

Agreed. If we are viewed as the third choice from the Valley in any way, regardless of reason, we're toast for getting in the NCAA. Hopefully both UNI and the Shocks finish strong and get the Valley two teams in.
