Its nice to have such an upstanding fairminded institution like the NCAA looking over your shoulder to make sure you don't do anything to give your team an advantage or something that would favor your program financially like giving all of the at large bids to mid to bad "Bowl Championship Series" teams so that "their" coaches don't lose their jobs. I'm goin to bed.

There is plenty of reason to be concerned about Clevin.
We're going to know more Monday, but as it stands RIGHT NOW, it is NOT good.
Hopefully, the U will be able to take the fall here.

Truthfully I came out pleased. I KNOW we can play better defense then that and am positive we will. I was happy with the offense. And Williams is a PLAYER. I also though Stutz looked good. Sure he should do that to Newman, but I do think he reacted faster and more confidently than he did most of last year.
Again, would have liked to see better defense. Overall though, I'm excited.

Newman has some D-1 caliber players. It was a good test. Had they seen all our traps and double teams, I think we would have had quite a bit more points scored off our defense. Way too sloppy and soft on defense. I'm sure that will improve.

Radio: Paper processing mistake regarding Clevin's amateur status. It will get resolved this week.

Wichita State put out a release after the game stating that Hannah is out while WSU resolves “an administrative matter concerning the certification of his amateur status” with the NCAA. WSU athletic director Eric Sexton and WSU coach Gregg Marshall said he believes the matter will be resolved this week, which doesn’t necessarily mean Hannah will play in Sunday’s season-opener. WSU expects Hannah to play at some point this season.
“Clevin didn’t do anything wrong – it’s paperwork,” Marshall said. “We didn’t dot the I’s and cross the T’s. We’ll hopefully have him back as soon as possible.”
Sexton said Hannah’s situation would not affect last season’s record. WSU is also reviewing the status of baseball player Taylor Gilmore
