Wish I could have been there.

Isn't Brian Schmitz a clever writer for the Orlando Sentinel? He knows nothing about a mooing meteor.

Homeless man in small town Kansas listens to a college baseball regional game and goes crazy when they win.

The starters played through the 3rd quarter. Second half picked up the pace and was more fun to watch, but those refs sure loved to stop the action by calling fouls.
I wonder if part of this is because they were replacement officials.
Mark Cuban says the replacement official are doing a fine job.

What also would have been nice would be more than 3 concession stands open. People who got in line for a snack right at the end of the first half, stood in line through the entire halftime break and the entire 3rd quarter... I didn't need a snack that bad.

Mark Cuban is persona not grata in the Dr.'s household.

He is a self obsorbed lunatic, with half the brain of Michael Moore, if that's possible. He got rich, and thought he grew a brain.

                  He was wrong.

Yah, what was up with that?

                    Pretty lame.

Fair point. I feel at least a little vindicated in purchasing a few tickets. I found Marty's comments on tickets curious.

Yes, row 34 tickets were $11, but I am not about to sit in row 34. I am not a big fan of seat poaching anyway (as it chaps my ass when someone is in mine).
There was a lot of what you call "seat poaching" going on last night. I was in 119, row 12 and four different groups (all young men - looked like students, either late high school or early college) had to be asked to move. I don't know if it happened in other sections, but I did see it happen. The young men were very nice about leaving when asked -- there was no trouble at all. I have never been one to criticize when young people try to sit in better seats than they can afford -- but wait until after halftime at least to see if the owners of those seats show up. I have been told that a LOT of this goes on in St. Louis.

Whoever told you about the STL situation, knew what he was talking about.

Sometimes, it is a pain in the @ss, but you just sorta have to live with it. I am pretty sure the poaching will not discontinue.
