This is correct Royal, it will be next year at a neutral site.

That could prove to be a not good decision by LSU, although, as far as I am concerned, there is still plenty of payback for '81 and all the baseball.

A "neutral" court beatdown in Shreveport in '10-'11 will give momentary comfort but in no way even things out.

Those LSU teams looked like 30 year old men with full facial hair and forearms the size of most of the Shockers waists.

I think Marshall should try to get Tulsa on the schedule some how. If not this year, maybe next. Who is the bigger rival Tulsa or LSU?

            I'm with you WuDrWu,

Playing a well coached team with possibly 12 of 13 players returning is not always a great recipe for a W.

That WSU team should have a lot of talent and experience. It should be a great game.

I think out of tradition that Tulsa was the bigger rival.

Does anyone know when the first exhibition game will be played, so I can mark my calendar and do a countdown? I can't wait, hardly, to see this new team in action, and the new recruits.

I believe it's Nov 7th against Newman, although it hasn't "officially" been released yet.

The Valley has asked that schools not release the schedule until Friday. Hopefully WSU knows our CBE opponents and game days so they can release on Friday as well. If not, looks like another year that we will have to piece our MVC schedule together from other teams releasing theirs.

Hopefully we won't get screwed like we normally do and wind up playing all of the top teams to start the conference schedules and then finish the season by traveling to their arenas to finish the season.

I would like to start the season playing a couple of second tier teams at home to get started and then get a couple of second tier teams on the road.

                          Here's my best conference schedule

                          Last year:

                          Creighton away
                          Bradley at home
                          Northern Iowa away
                          Southern Illinois at home
                          Drake away
                          Missouri State away
                          Creighton at home

Great way for a team whose biggest weakness was inexperience to start conference play.

I would like to start with:

                          Missouri State home
                          Evansville home
                          Indiana State away
                          Drake away
                          Northern Iowa away
                          Creighton home
                          SIU away
                          ISU away
                          Drake home
                          Indiana State home
                          SIU home
                          Creighton away
                          SIU home
                          Northern Iowa home
                          Missouri State away
                          ISU home
                          Evansville away
                          Indiana State home

With that schedule we are 15-3, conference champs. JT Durley MoVall Player of the Year.

My early predictions. Don't ask me about nonconference results.

Well, I'm sure LSU didn't figure on going 0-2 to start that series. I guess their punchbowl still isn't sanitized after the terd we dropped in it.
