Interesting that Doug has a couple of Valley teams on his radar. That's good news. I think that five teams in the valley could surprise some folks.

Anybody remember what happened the last time we were picked 5th?
      Deuces Valley.
      ... No really, deuces.

I do not expect Garrett or Graham in the starting lineup.
Stutz may still be a year away. I wouldn't be so quick to count Hatch out. If he improves as much over this summer as he did last summer he will be tough to keep out of the starting line-up.

If not Hatch then who?..AE is too slow to guard a quick three and Coy is gone. The 3 may be our weak link...we may be best playing three guards since we have some big ones. But I think AE is a tweener...a good role player but not a major force...Just my opinion...He could really surprise me by gaining weight and moving to the 4 spot......Prove me wrong Aaron!

                I think some are suggesting a starting lineup of . . .

                PG: Hannah/Manigault
                SG: Kyles/Hannah
                SF: Murry
                PF: Blair
                C: Durley

I think you should add /Hatch to SF, and /Ellis to PF, and /Stutz to C.

I would hope that Murry has a little more arc to his shot this year, as his shot is kind of flat like PJ's was. I think it was the reason he missed a lot of shots late in the season last year.

Ellis, definately, needs to blossom this year. He has so much upside if he does.

And Hatch needs to have his shot back this year. Stutz needs to start being a difference maker this year. And people keep saying that Hamilton will be on the court.

Royal's talking starting lineup, not a depth chart.

And the more I think about it, the better it looks (Hannah/Kyles/Murry, not sure about Manigault yet).

Royal's starting lineup would not surprise me depending on the match-up. And I think we will see it regardless of who starts...But I still think Hatch starts as our undersized 3......It is his until someone beats him out...I really don't think Hamilton is a good enough shooter to play a 3 but from what I have seen and heard his athleticism will be fun to watch at the 4.....With him and Blair I am hoping we have better depth at that position than we have had in awhile

At this point the only way Hatch doesn't start is if Kyles earns a spot and Murry gets pushed to the 3. Either that or Kenny really wows the coaches and bumps Hannah to SG.

If Hatch can adapt his new shooting touch to game time play. (this was suggested by the coaching staff. They also wanted to tweak TM's shot so we will have to see.) If Hatch gets his sot back then he is the three. If not he will be a key reserve. We can match up against most valley teams who run a three guard set very well.

Well I don't know how much Murry has actually worked on his shot over the summer. But this tweet from Suellentrop might get you excited:

Impression from watching individuals on Wed.: Toure Murry's jumper looks different. Release point is higher and more arch. Swish.
