89-90: KU 93, @ WSU 66

Personally I'd like to see WSU and KU play. I only posted because I thought bloodgold's post was missing a crucial point: that we did schedule WSU after the 86-87 game, and the results were so one-sided that the series became rediculous to continue for both programs.

I'm sorry, but those reasons from 15-20 years ago don't fly today.
I could care less one way or the other. But when Team A has an opportunity to play a home game with no strings attached against Team B on national tv and oddly turns it down.. it certainly makes you wonder.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

As to the thread, I could give you a list of reasons why KU might not want to schedule WSU, and as perfectly valid as those reasons might be, it’s still hard to argue how we couldn’t fit our very respectable D1 in-state non-con into our 15-game non-conference schedule. But I don’t make that call. Bring on Cornell.

PS... can we get this "clown", who obviously has nothing constructive to bring to the WSU basketball conversation, booted yet?
