2 more weeks of practice and at least one more game. I'd look at it just like a bowl game, it's more experience for the guys which will help next year. Does it really mean anything? No, but it's 2 more weeks to work together than most teams will get.

If the 50k guarantee is real - WSU would probably bid higher and try to host as many games as possible - I see Marshall and Sexton working every angle to extend the season - this team is going to be good next year and if JT and Toure continue to grow as players- then they have a chance to be great

We have a history of AMAZING atmosphere and support in the post season.

Several 15-14 teams have made the NIT, as last teams in. The arguement was there record down the stretch.

I'm not necessarily saying we could be in the NIT, but the postseason is not out of reach.

I, for one, would be outside in the cold(or warm) temps waiting to buy tickets. Me and about 13,000 other people.

I would think that the CBI would love to have WSU in it. The $$$ is first and foremost and they have been a hot team down the stretch as well.

Several sellouts would certainly help out the case too.

CBI needs to look at our last 10 games, just like the NCAAs do. But they are really in it for the $$$. We have to look good to them.

For what it's worth, by my account...there are 13 teams who have a losing record, who have a higher RPI than WSU. TCU, Iowa St., Southern Illinois....just to name a few. It's a long shot, but at least it is a shot to make it to the CBI tourney.

That's pretty interesting that the Nit would even be remotely interested in a team with a losing record. I could see the CBI looking at our team, but I think the future is bleak.
