There is something the posters can do.

Ignore trolling posts. There's no "Ignore" feature and that's probably a function of the board itself and there's nothing Royal can do about it.

Just ignore trolls. Don't feed them. Don't respond to their posts. Don't acknowledge their presence or existence. Don't disagree with them. That's the one thing trolls can't stand - the inability to bring attention to themselves.

Why respond on a message board? That idea is sheer crazy. Maybe we can have Royal set up limits to how many times you can post to a thread. That would be sweet and make the utmost sense.

Anytime I bring up something that doesn't talk about us winning, it gets harped at and I'm told to go away. I guess I must be dense.

It's ok. I'm changing my outlook for the good of the team because people can't stand it.

It was because you were virtually blanketing the board early in the season with negativity. And whether you agree with the term "blanketing" isn't relevant. If you aren't careful with how you express it, that's how it will be perceived. You received the natural, predictable reaction. And rather than understand why you were getting that reaction or just be content with respectfully defending your position, you resorted to disparagment and mocking.

There's nothing inherently wrong with being negative. But posting it early and often, and being a jerk in the process will net predictable results.

You should not feel discriminated against. Fever is an equal opportunity debater. Young, old, pretty, ugly, smart, dumb. He treats everybody alike.

Actually, he merely juxtaposes his views with those of others and delivers his colorful commentary with an iron fist in a velvet glove. Sometimes, he takes the glove off.

Often, he delivers penetrating food for thought, but alas, sometimes the message is obscured because of his tendacy to kill a gnat with a sledge hammer.

I have no plans to skip over his posts or to place him on "ignore."

There is one poster here, who provides his readers with excessive sunshine and verbosity. I have not read his posts for several years. I merely skip over them. It is not hard to do. This is not a criticism of the poster personally. I just do not care for his writings. It seems to me that if one does not care for Fever's posts, it is easy enough to skip over them.

(It seems to me there is a lot of piling on.)
