OK let's just go win on the road. SIU is down to 8 players, we should be able to win this one, You guys tell me why we might go down. If we win this where are we in the playoff?

I know some of you have already put out some different ideas on this, but do we really control our postion. Again, I know a lot of you guys have really thought this out. Just want a final opinion.

SF---Let's just hope we win and my preseason prediction of 4th is closer than your 8th place prediction. Also, didn't you say something like--"Those who pick the Shockers 6th or higher just don't know basketball?" Hmmm--Interesting how all of this comes down to the wire on the very last day of the regular Season. You lose either way SF. If we win---we could end up who knows where---but probably 5th-6th at least? If we lose, than your prediction might be closer than mine, but losing anytime is a bummer for Shocker fans like us. Right?

No, you got it all wrong FSF.

It's a win-win either way. If we win, I'm ecstatic as ever that we managed to avoid Thursday by winning in a place where we haven't won in a decade, and I am gladly eating crow.

And then of course if we lose, I'm proven right, which is technically a 'win', but it sucks in the grand scheme of things.

SIU's young players haven't bought into Lowery's system. A W over DU means nothing. DU is in free fall (except for one game).

WSU's young players have bought into Marshall's system. WSU is overdue for a W on the road.

DU didn't play D anywhere near the intensity WSU brings. DU wasn't pessuring, pressing, and running the floor anywhere near what WSU does. Murry is due for a big game.
