Here's the deal. Is this SIU game important or what? We are dealing still with unknowns here. What we can control though is a road win this coming Sat. which has been rare. We have won only 1 game on the road in the Valley which is lackkuster, yet we are 13-3 overall at home this Season overall which is extraordinary. Yes---I said extraordinary. Thus, the Shocks can show we are not just a 'flash in the pan', but rather a team that is on the rise. You like ugly? This will be a "knock-down-drag-out-barn-yard-brawl. We will win and THAT IS STILL ANOTHER 100% GUARANTEE!!!!!!! However, NO, I would not bet the farm on it but let's hope it happens!!!!!!!

Okay but if we win we have to score above 70 points (meaning that SIU is not able to stimey us with their super stingey defense). I think unless we score at least 70 -- which is a VERY tall order -- we are in deep doo-doo. We gotta be hot, hot, hot! SIU is going to slow the pace to a crawl (or at least try to).

We have a chance to win our last game with a road win that would be a nice way to finish. We were 0-6 and would finish 9-3 from there and be 9-9 in the Valley. Now THAT would be a hot finish no matter what else happens around us with a win. This should also assure us that we would not finish 8th or 9th as most of the experts predicted? That should result in Shocker fans everywhere witnessing progress on the horizen!!!!!!! One thing about SIU. They rarely lose at home. Thus, we will have to earn this road win and know it will NOT be handed to us without a serious fight.

SIU is just too tough at home, I honestly think Mullins playing would help us out as he wouldnt be 100%....Bradley is quickly becoming my least favorite team

There is nothing left in SIUs tank. Our tank continues to get replenished with good play and minutes spread around many folks.

Yes we've lost lots of road games earlier in the year.

Given how we are playing now, we would have picked up games like Evansville and Missouri State for starters.
