      • No doubt about it, no matter how ugly it looked, this was a HUGE win tonight.

Looks like everybody else wants to help us out.

        SIU beating Illinois State
        Drake beating Creighton
        EU beating Missouri State.

I guess we could be 2 out of 2nd tonight.

Makes avoiding the play-in game more challenging though..

I couldn't of made that stuff up. I got the news on a tip from the clerk that works at the Kmart there in Terre Haute.

He has a blog if you want to check it out. He has pictures and everything. www.TheBetterBirdBrother--Eddie.com

              • If we can only start putting a good 1st half offensively with our second half. In our last 5 wins, we have scored 126 points (25 average) in the first half and 190 points (38 average) in the second.

                  Total incompetence.

                      • An uneven performance to be sure, but a big road win to keep the goal of 6th place finish (or better) in place.

Indiana State is not the scariest of teams, but they do seem to play everyone in the Valley tough (and they own the only win over UNI).

Will have to play better, I think, if we are going to pick up a 2nd road win at Evansville on Saturday.

                        • Evansville's defense here at 21st and Hillside was tough as nails compared to what I thought it would be.

Marshall tends to use a lot of people in games and we are pretty deep into the season. Some of that might be due to WSU's legs being a little fresher near the end.

Finally Ramon saw that he needed to get to the Hulman Center STAT! As there would no doubt be dozens of people going to the game and traffic would be awful. As Ramon left, he turned around and asked, "Who are you anyway?". The man slurped the last of his icee, threw it in the trash, then turned around, took off his stocking cap to reveal the most perfect jeri curl hair man has ever seen. Ramon was in awe! The man replied, "Just someone who has been in your shoes." Good luck Ramon.
