The OFFICIAL LET"S CHOP UP THE SYCS ON THE ROAD Game Th
FINALLY that road win!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is their biggest win so far this year.
I don't want to disagree with you, and I don't want to underplay the awesomeness of this win and how important it was but a win over CU is always pretty freaking epic.

Bandwagonner. This game is far from over. If the Shocks win on the road---you can call my mishap what you want.

Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
Ramon Clemente met a stranger at the Terre Haute megacomplex today. ie, the food court at KMart. The man was obviously dressed in a disguise with dark glasses, overcoat and stocking cap. The man shared his vast knowledge of free-throw shooting. They talked over a cherry icee for hours. Finally Ramon saw that he needed to get to the Hulman Center STAT! As there would no doubt be dozens of people going to the game and traffic would be awful. As Ramon left, he turned around and asked, "Who are you anyway?". The man slurped the last of his icee, threw it in the trash, then turned around, took off his stocking cap to reveal the most perfect jeri curl hair man has ever seen. Ramon was in awe! The man replied, "Just someone who has been in your shoes." Good luck Ramon.
The rest is history.

Now you can use the 2nd hour that you budgeted for biting your nails during the Shocker 2nd half and bask in the greatness that is a Shocker road win instead!

Of course a win against CU is big, but I don't care if this win was against Southwest Trade School of Crotcheting. It's significance as a road win for a young inexpeienced team is huge. The key to being in contention for a conference championship for any team is win out at home and split on the road.
I wouldn't trade the Shockers home crowd for any team but as much of as an advantage as it is at home it can be a bit of a disadvantage on the road. It's hard enough for a young team to bring the intensity to win on the road, but it's even harder when they are used to 10,000 screaming fans to pick them up. Hopefully this is the first step in learning how to self motivate that intensity and toughness to win on the road. I stand behind this being the biggest win of the year even is it is against Indiana State.
