Oh and I am actually with you on 1 thing Shockfever. Lose Wednesday and I don't see much of a possibility of staying out of the bottom 4. But really that can be said about all upcoming games. I don't think we have much margin of error left and still be able to climb out of Thursday. We win Wednesday but lose at Evansville I still think we don't finish better than 7th. This team has not given me any reason to believe we will win a road game...let alone 2 in a row. So that is why I'm expecting to be playing on Thursday in St Louis.
With that said, there is always a little hope and other scenario's are possible."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

We have to win a road game to even have a shot at 6th. I agree I'm not confident with that scenario either. I hope to be proven wrong though.Deuces Valley.

I hope to be proven wrong though.
Here's what happens:
You make some dire, downer prediction. When anything happens that supports your prediction, you're out here with "I told you so" posts saying how bad the Shox are. Usually you accompany that with taunts of more positive posters. You point out how you knew all along just how bad the Shox were going to be.
The number, content, and tone of your posts after bad results makes it appear that you are very proud of your earlier predictions of doom and gloom. You sort of rub it in the noses of more positive posters that you are the only person here who actually knows anything.
When anything happens that doesn't support your doom and gloom attitude, you respond with "I told you I hoped to be proven wrong".
I would think that if you actually hoped to be proven wrong, some of your posts after bad results would contain something like, "I was hoping I was wrong". That never happens. You go on and on forever with how you were right.
Which way is it? You seem to take extreme pride and joy from taunting others when bad things happen. Then you say you hoped to be wrong when something good happens. Your actions don't back up your hope to be wrong. Only your words. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Aww, you shouldn't have Aargh.
When I'm wrong about something and it benefits the Shockers, I'm always happy. Probably more happy then you'd ever think. When I'm right about something, of course I"m gonna let you know. Too much koolaid all the time and this place turns into SalukiTalk - not a good thing.
When we have a team that performs well enough to get excited about, you'll hear it from me first (a la the last couple of years). To think we're Sweet 16 caliber right now might be a little off. I just wanna make sure everyone knows that. Being 100% sunshine all the time, not looking at the real picture, and then get proven wrong is just as bad as doing the opposite.
It can't be sunny everyday. Get over it. :)Deuces Valley.
