Geez, beat Syracuse at Syracuse this year....only lost to Butler by 2, lost to KSU by 10.

MK when speaking to HCGM after the UNI game made reference to the BB game against cleveland state. Marshall or Kennedy made a funny comment on how cleveland state HC Waters probably now wishes they could have been lined up with DU or UE since the Shox are now playing so well.
Marshall had some nice comments to say about cleveland state advising that they are as good as UNI and a top level MVC team.

My comment about not taking them lightly has less to do with who they are and more to do with the fact that I have seen many posters talk loads of smack on BBuster opponents before games only to have a plate full of crow served up to this board after the buzzer sounds. I do however understand that with the fact that we are at home and they have been losing as of late many Shocker fans are confident going into this game. I'm really having trouble getting interested in a game against CSU in the middle of a Valley race for 5th place. A race for 5th isn't that great, so imagine how CSU feels about playing an OOC game against a mid-to-lower-tier MVC team while they're also fighting for a seed in their conference tourney.
Next year WSU could be in a position to be an NCAA bubble team. CSU looks like they will be down next year. The return game looks like a road game where a loss is an RPI killer and a W is an RPI killer.
I can see why CSU's coach would rather play DU or UE.
BracketBusters makes some sense for the top couple of teams in the Valley, if they want to play an NCAA elimination game at this stage of the season.
I think WSU can schedule a better home-and-home than CSU without the help of Bracket Busters.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

This should inspire some interest!I was just checking out the WSU board... for the record they have and the lack of good teams they've beaten this year.. they sure are full of themselves.
I really can't name a win that I was impressed with on their schedule. They rant about how much they pack the stadium, well it hasn't helped them thus far. I'm sure the atmosphere there is a bit toned down from Syracuse's.
They don't seem to understand that CSU has had a huge turn around within the passed 5 years... So comparing previous results is a bit irrelevant.
Oh well, go CSU. Bring home the W. CSU618
