There's no reason to bump a thread with the last post 3 minutes ago.
There is if you want to be notified when a new post has been added and you don't have time to camp out on this board, now you mind your business and I'll mind mine.

      A 1.5 hour drive vs. a 3 hour drive..

Is it really that big of a difference?

Fan Support: Again a plus for WSU with minus going to drake since they average about the same as WSU does for Baseball and Volleyball. Coaching: Have to go with a minus for WSU on the basketball side since no prior relationship existed between JC and HCGM with a plus going to drake because of the prior relationship. Baseball a definitive plus for WSU and N/A for drake. Weight training: What more can you say than Kerry Rosenboom. Travel: Charter flights vs (I have no clue how drake travels) City: Wichita (Wind blows like the devil) vs Des (hope it doesn't flood again this spring) Moines. Hot chicks: Wichita, where most of the women have a full set of teeth. drake, where a tooth brush is aptly named. This looks like a slam dunk to me or a home run depending on which sport we are pushing but I am a little biased.

I am assuming you messed up and meant basketball when you said baseball. Because Drake doesn't have baseball. As for fan support, the Knapp Center only holds 7,000 and they don't sell-out every game. If WSU was having the season Drake is having, there would be 10,500 every night. Fan support between the two isn't close.

He was saying Drake averages in basketball what WSU averages in baseball and volleyball. I think you both are in agreement about who has the plus on fan support.. I'm with ya as well..

Every minute we don't hear about a commitment to Drake is a plus for Wichita State.

If he was completely sold on Drake, which I was under the impression he was commited to Coach Phelps, is a plus for WSU.

If he was going to commit to Coach Phelps, it would have been Sunday.

While I have mixed feelings, I think WSU will win the recruiting battle with the tag team of Coach Marshall and Coach Stephenson.

I wish him the best in his decision, but at this point obviously Drake is not what he is looking for.

WSU may or may not be.

Time doesn't help me here at all. I NEVER expected him to commit on the spot to Drake even if that's where he ends up going. He understands the process and was always going to go home and discuss it with his family. Ever since rc20 said he'd be at the game sunday I haven't expected to hear anything firm before wednesday at the earliest.

                      I'm still hopeful though.

That is not true. I posted the distances in the recruiting section about Johnny Coy, and it is about only 40 minutes longer to Wichita. Wichita route is all 4 lane. There is about 36 miles of 2 lane highway up to Drake.
