So much for the blow out theory we keep hearing about from the same people. However, we were 2 different teams. The 1st half team was toast--and the 2nd half team will be the Shockers in the near future in both halves. Can u dig it?

We had NO business being down 17 to this team. Although they do have some dang good shooters.
I'm sick of close losses.
note: I still think we will be better than expected in the Valley though."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Were a young team...in the near future we will win more of these games than we lose. We just have to learn how to finish. Almost every young team in the history of sports has to go through growing pains. I am excited for this team and can't wait for valley play.I had Martin explain to me three times what he got arrested for because it sounds an awful lot like what I do here every day.

WSU RECORD
MORAL VICTORY RECORD
6-1
Actual
3-4
Still young, still growing, still will finish top 5 in the valley.Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Well, regrettably I was right (barely). They scored over 70, although the Shox out-rebounded Texas Tech. However, I had the feeling if just one of aspects occurred (or didn't) all bets were off.
Man, I wish I would've been wrong.
I know we're all getting tired of hearing this, but the team now learned that you need to put in a FULL 40, not just one half. Hopefully that won't happen again anytime soon, and we come back with a vengance against TCU.

A good, not great but good, Big12 team, at home, needed to shoot 52% and 10-23 from 3 and a miracle 3 from a chop to beat us on a night when we played 20 out of 40 minutes.
No doubt the first 20 is a concern but pardon me if I say I'm not worried.
The Valley should be concerned about the 9th and 10th place preseason teams. Very concerned.
