We've faced 2 of the toughest defenses we will face ALL year...yes even including SIU....so let's give Georgetown and Michigan St a LITTLE credit for how our offense looked. We couldn't BREATHE without them being there.

Is it a surprise this year? No. But please be real and don't sugarcoat. It's annoying.
No sugarcoating. I've seen this team play decent on offense, yes against lower competition, but I've seen it. I'm just saying that alot of our poor offense had to do with facing real good defense. Of course you won't see that because you REFUSE to....so I'll let you finish your half empty glass.....

Yeah, our offense looked REAL good against UMKC. Gimme a break. We have no inside offense, hopefully that will change.

            Thank you Cold.

We didn't even attempt to go inside. The Juco ball has been an issue in a lot of the games. The UMKC game for example. Also, the Siena game to some extent. The only difference is in the Siena game, the shots fell in in the second half.

G-Town's defense looked awesome after giving up 90 to Tennessee..

              • Ive been to a lot of places, Nc twice Duke in the NCAA, that was the most physical game I have ever coached. It was a slugfest and the bigger and stronger team won a close one. HCGM
I for one can see where this team is headed and it looks bright

                • If this team can continue to grow each game like they have the last 3, this team will have a chance to get to the NCAA this year.

And you're a blind homer fan. I know the type. You're seeing things in an unrealistic way. I accept that. Most fans do.

God, I seriously hope you weren't the moontz tool in the MSU video chatlog.

Nope, I'm very realistic and know what I am seeing....you don't. You are so pessimistic it makes me sick LOL. I'm not saying this Shocker team is going to walk through the valley...that is what a homer would be saying. We are still in for a long year and unfortunately we will have to read your BS on the multiple bad losses we can likely still endure.

But I know what I'm seeing from this Wichita St team and it's better than I expected. No we aren't and won't be world beaters and there are still growing pains. But I have seen enough that I feel we might get 2-3 more wins than I anticipated....and I didn't anticipate many wins at all.

                          • MSU has some BIG time athletes. That's why it was impressive how Hannah handled their non-stop pressure. He was nails all game long.
Our youth and inexperience was exposed in the post today, especially when RC picked up the two fouls. When he goes off the floor, we have little if any post presence. Ellis plays hard, but not having MG (a SR) being able to contribute anything hurts too.
All in all, GM got almost everything he wanted out of this trip. Now it's time to get back to the gym and get to work. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

                            • The trend line for this year through the six games is still up. There have been ebbs and flows but as long as in January the trend line is still up, and we are prepared for Valley basketball games, we'll be going in the right direction.
