3 games in a row the other team has played like crap?

Or maybe, just maybe, we can play a little D.

      Maybe.
Our D isn't bad, but other teams have missed wide open shots and turned the ball over unforcedly.

MSU is barely a Top 20 team right now IMO. Don't be so blind.
      Don't be so obtuse.

I said maybe, and a little D. MSU is still a good team, with good talent and we gave them a game as we did with Sienna and Georgetown. To do that, you have to have some decent D and we do.

Something we can all agree on. You predicted the blowout and it didn't happen, therefore, you suck this year. :D
How do you know it's not reverse psychology?

I didn't realize MSU was this bad. I should have realized it with the Maryland blowout. Muh bad. Where was your prediction ballsy?
        Deuces Valley.
        ... No really, deuces.

        • Much better result than the last time we played them with an experienced team.

I believe the competition talked about WSU confusing D

                  • Good game. Rebounding was our Achilles Heel for sure. We need more rebounders than Ramon, and hopefully as the season shakes out, we will get some.

We accomplished a lot--perhaps more in some aspects than some of the teams who placed higher than we did--in this tourney. I'm proud of our team, and if they use these experiences to build on, we're going to be much better than 9th in the Valley.

Conference team is still a while off--still lots of basketball to be played. It will be fun to watch them get better.

                    Texas Tech should be wary!

                      • Way ta keep it close.

                        Another moral victory I guess.

If we would have executed well and lost, I would have been happy and impressed. As it is, we still have A LOT to work on offensively.

Hannah has shown he's at least a shooter.

I think we set a record for most times allowing the shot clock to run under 5.

That pretty much describes how we played this weekend...

Agreed. There's not much quit in them! A very encouraging thing!

                            • No shame in the way they played this weekend. They played 3 games in 4 days. They won 1 and the other 2 they stayed with very tough defensive minded teams and stuck with them the whole way. I'm proud of them and they build off of this and who knows what the Valley will hold for them.

Oh and I have always disliked Hightower, even when he's reffing other games....and that does not change today....
