Shockerfan---I only had a glimpse of MSU versus the Cowboys and it was like---"scary." They are ticked off for allowing Maryland to beat them. If we don't get back on Defense they will desecrate us. However, we need this national exposure and fierce competition to prepare us for Valley play.

Let's look at the big picture. The Shocks have been picked as low as 9th in the Valley for this Season. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN BABY!!! This Shocker team will most definitely finish above last years results. We will want to pull our hair out at times. However, when it is all said and done--look for some impressive progress with this team. We are going to  S-H-O-C-K some folk.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

I understand that Durley can be lazy and sometimes just flat out makes you angry. But he is our only physical post. Against Georgetown he was the only play to go and post up and score. Stutz is not where he needs to be at all. I love the guy but he needs to work on his feet. Clemente busts his rear like crazy and he is awesome but he is not a true post. Ellis isn't a post player he should play the 3. It would create a mismatch for every valley team to guard a 6'6 6'7 3 man. Durley is big and physical and a great offensive player. I like the guy alot. Somebody just needs to take the guy on how to take a charge.
      Shocker Forever!!

Actually he knows quite well how to take a charge. The first game or 2 of the season he took 2-3 charges. He just didn't do it right against Georgetown for some reason. But the man is good at taking charges.

Alright. Sorry i didn't know that. I haven't been able to watch the Shox that much this year. I like Durley. I think he is a good ball player and I trust Coach Marshall in what he is doing and he is playing Durley so I will stick with him.

No need to apologize LOL. I figured perhaps you were an out of towner or someone that couldn't go to the first few home games. So just letting ya know that's one thing he's done pretty well overall so far is getting position for a charge. :)

Durley has definately emerged as the frontrunner for the post position. GS hasn't progressed as fast as everyone had expected, and lacks not only in his footwork, but needs vast amounts of improvement in the areas of ball handling, hedging, rebounding, and at the present cannot sense or feel where his defender is at when he has the ball in the post. We had better pray that Durley stays healthy for the upcoming MVC schedule.

Stutz will appear greatly improved by the time Valley play starts.

Front court questions are pretty common among Valley fans.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

you can disagree all you want but he has taken more charges than anyone else on the team and has successfully drawn the call most of the time lol

I fail to understand why you think that taking a few charges make GS a good defensive or offensive post player. Please explain.

umm I wasn't even talking about GS I was talking about durley. And durley does a lot of things below average but I was merely stating that he has done well drawing charges. Jeez people it isn't that complicated if you read lol

As far as I am concerned, JT can find another school at semester. I'll help him find it, and I'll pay for his bus ticket. Give his scholarship, time, attention and uniform to someone that cares and wants to represent WSU with some heart.

In order, Reggie Britton, Mason Felter, Bret Michael and Brett Steven should get his scholarship now.

If he plays one more minute, it will be too flippin soon for me.

                                More discussion needed.
