Some people have just wanted this guy's a** from the beginning and will not be happy until he is ran out of town. Big mistake. He can and will play defense and realize his potential. Get off his butt!

There were many at fault for the loss against UMKC. I was not suprised at all that we lost. I was surprised THE WAY we lost. I can't think of ANYONE that has been on JT since the beginning. Outside of the players, coaches, staff and families, I doubt there are a dozen people that want JT to excel anymore than I. There is little that would make me happier than for him to tell me to go to hell and dominate the rest of the season like I know he is capable. BUT, the program is bigger than any one person, and if he is going to continue to not put forth the effort and not use his head (I know he is a bright young man) then we need to reward someone that will.

Trust me, I hope JT goes out there and tells me where to stick it. I simply doubt it is going to happen.

What he said...I know everyone is different, so it isn't possible, but if everyone played with the desire and passion of Ramon...

His number of rebounds were impressive last game, but what was more impressive was his intensity in securing the rebounds...I don't think I've seen desire like that since......X.

Most people on this site find fault with JTs defense. Myself included. Since his offense is often negated by his lack of defense what needs to happen is he never leaves the offensive end of the floor. The opposing team cannot afford to just leave him down there to cherry pick so they leave a man down there to guard him thus its 4 on 4 on the other end and JT doesn't have to guard anyone and his liability is negated. :D

Pogo, that is brilliant. Maybe not realistic, but still brilliant. :good:

Instead of using the Durley cherry picking method, Marshall may elect to start Stutz.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Garrett will be a stud, but he isn't quite ready to have regular success against teams at this level yet.

My predicition didn't pan out for JT's scoring. But he's playing better on D and is our best low post scoring option.

I think even WuDrWu would have to let him keep his scholly now.

I rarely, if ever, agree with a liberal. However, Wuzee is on with this one.
Stutz will eventually be a good college player. But if ever we should hold the Nigerian government in contempt, it's now.
E.O. would have worked out nicely this year on a number of fronts, but the fact he would have enabled GM to RS Stutz may have been the biggest.
He clearly needs a year to adjust and have KR do what he does best.
I know it's a moot point now, but he is a perfect candidate to RS and develop his body and game for the D-1 level.
Since GM didn't have the luxury, the good Dr. needs to get used to a steady dose of the JT show. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

Even in Paul Miller's glorious Senior year, there was a few teams that he got lost in the shuffle and really did not match up as well as usual. However, in such cases, we had Ryan Martin and Kyle Wilson to shore up those rare moments. Likewise, between JT, AE, Stutz, Mantas, and Mr. Clemente--we will be better than last Season inside. Different matchups will dictate who HCGM goes with game per game. Furthermore, we are quite the rebounding machine as a team thus far. Do you suppose we can out-rebound Michigan State as well? Hmmmmmm! Stay tuned!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Gonna be another tall order as it seems they have plenty of guys that like to crash the boards too. So you have to be sure to box them ALL out. We may out rebound them...but it'll be alot closer than what it has been IMO.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
