FWIW I did send this to ADDB. I really expect they will end up with one of the 3 originally proposed names however.

Why walk somebody in baseball when you can hit them?

I hope they come up with a cool logo for the rivalry, like the old Border War logos

Nice to see a traditional rivalry reinvigorated, especially considering how many have been killed off as a result of conference realignment.

but it's going to be smu that shockers really hate today. see: tim jankovich .. the most recent mvc rival.

Of the 3 choices given that was my favorite. Now hopefully the rivalry will be regenerated with the same intensity as in the past.

For a lot on here that rivalry was Creighton, for me it was and always will be Tulsa, the team I love to hate.

Believe me, we (SMU) are waiting for you. Moody will be packed to the rafters and loud, very loud. So glad y'all are in the conference now. I seldom make road trips, but depending on how our season is going, I may have to wander your way if I can come up with 3 tickets. I have 3 season tickets for home games and if I go up to see us play at y'all's place I know I will have to take my two sons along for the ride. Might even take my wife and my sons' families as well. That would be 10 tickets to get. How hard is it to get tickets to your home games? I assume it is a hard ticket to come by.

Always sold out, so it can be a very difficult ticket to get for sure.
