Crazy things can happen, though. You look at this years draft, and you can see a lot of SF/PF with their height and weight going in the second round. I guess a good comparison is Markis McDuffie and Cleanthony Early (34rth pick). I think I will take Cle over Markis, eight days a week.

Edit: Just wanted to add a note that I think Landry will have to show he can play above the rim to get into the first round. Also, I would like to see him show of the jumping abilities while in CKA.
Landry has already shown in the Kentucky game he can play above the rim. He flourished after he was able to have the ball in his hands more often as the Point Guard. His ability to penetrate was the reason the Shockers made the run after February. He just needs to get stronger.

As for Markis, it all depends on what he does in the off season. He still has a real high ceiling and hasn't approached the pinnacle yet. His defense, length, BB IQ, free throw shooting, and effort ranks with anyone. He needs to improve his strength, and gain weight. Additionally he needs to improve on the offensive end beginning with his handles, his ability to make one on one plays, and the continual improvement of his three point shooting percentage up to at least 40 percent.

I hope we have more players return than that.

That Table reflects a best case scenario with every player eligible to return, in fact, returning. Shamet and McDuffie are thought by some on this board to potentially leave early.

            I believe Gordon is a 2019 grad.

I'm sorry. I was looking on my laptop and only black appeared for a roster. You did show D. Gordon coming in 2018-19 a year early.

You are correct regards Gordon and Chandler appears headed potentially to Prep School; so there are potential issues with this Best Case Scenario. Of course, things can change but I keep this table as a quick reference from where HC3G is headed with his recruitment program.

Poor Bear will be at a Prep School in 2017-18 and your list him playing for the Shockers in 2018-19. He was correct on your list.

Caution to those that predict the draft. Not many prospects in the top 80 or 90 in there high school class get drafted in the first round. Some of the politics played in the NBA are at play. Yes the young man from Colarado is an exception late in round 1. Ivan Rabb is the exception the other way (losing positions). Three players from the AAC were picked last night and all were 2nd round picks. The star forward for the Baylor team that was praised all last year was not even drafted. Shamet & McDuffie are two that could be 1st rounders, but one or both may not earn there way to the league the easy way with a guaranteed contract. Just food for thought as people flash the gold in the eyes of young athletes.

One other note that sickened me watching the draft. Calipari stating that his intentions were all about the kids and their families. I call bull!! He is a self absorbed individual that cares about #1.

That's why, most likely, they go first round only if we have one of the best years in Shocker history. I also predict that if Landry thinks he is not going in the first round, he'll come back for his junior year.

Every kid he puts in the league helps recruiting

Landry #29 in this one. I think he'll be gone by the time the Cavaliers pick.

Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

My thoughts also but I included Kaelen since he is still identified on the Shocker Roster
