The peculiar calls in the last 8 minutes of that game even had KU fans I know bewildered. Number 44 knocks Baker down and pops him in the chops on the way. As we head to the commercial, the Commentator mentioned a possible flagrant foul. We come back to hear it was a double foul? What? Then #44 strikes again. We have an inbounds pass and Carl Hall jumps straight up to catch it. #44 goes up for it too and smashes into Carl Hall trying to catch the ball, knocks him back and down on his can, gets the ball, and passes ahead for the uncontested basket for them. No blood, no foul? WOW!!!!! Hmmm. I could go on but I will spare ya'll because the misery is too perplexing to bear. Even with all of that, the Shocks had a few break downs of their own or still could have won. Yes, Michigan was a very winnable game with the Shocker squad that year IMO.

Ugh...one thing to take that sting away is just win the whole damn thing this year!

Man...to this day I'm still pissed whenever I think of the BS Luke Hancock tie up call, and this just kind of makes remembering the game sting all over again with no possibility of having a crack against Michigan in the title game.

Chuck Smrt says vacated games would include 2013 championship game. School will appeal.

Vacating records from 2010-14 certainly encompasses the championship season of 2012-13. Need more clarity on what that entails.

Baseball got called to remove the NCAA banner and put it in a box and ship it back the instant that decision came down for allowing student athletes to get a baseball discount on non baseball equipment. Student athletes on partial scholarship. And by God, do it NOW.

So I trust Louisville is being afforded the same courtesy, and will return their banners before the appeal is heard. You know, for about the same crime.

But I won't be holding my breath.

It seemed so obvious in real time that Hancock fouled Baker and these pictures make it even more painfully obvious, and you can even throw Harrell into conversation. I don't even see how it could even be considered 50/50 call that can go either way. I remember one of the TV commentators after the game stating that he and the fans may not like it, but the refs made the right call. Definitely the wrong call and momentum killing.

In the grand scheme of things, what is this NCAA action against Louisville and Pitino even going to accomplish? Might hurt them financially and a bit with recruiting, but does nothing for us and the other teams that faced Louisville.

I lost faith in you has one of the great coaches of young men, even a decent human being for that matter, when banged a chick on a table in a public restaurant which led to you knocking her up then forcing one of your assistants to act as the dad to be to cover your azz. If some of US think WSU could (and maybe should) have won the championship in 2013, how much more strongly do you think Marshall feels that way?

The NCAA can take away wins and final fours, but I don't think they can take away a title. Their name is on the trophy and is a direct representation of them.

I say let Pitino keep his title, but place a severe punishment on him. Loss of scholarships, post-season ban, fines, etc.

Post season bans and loss of scholarships punishes the current players, not the coaches. Have Pitino deliver a $100,000 check in person to each other head coach in the conference and to the head coaches he played in the NCAA. And inform the press of each and every meeting to deliver the check. AS for the assistants, fine them heavily and file criminal charges.
