    • The truth is, although frustrating, these snide comments are becoming less and less and more and more discreet when they do happen.

I believe the Big 12 only has ten teams so the arithmetic is 30%.

        • Glad to see that ESPN's piece about rampant cheating in college basketball is front and center of the MBB page. Odd they chose a photo of a WSU player, given that there are so many other good options to choose from and WSU has been in no way implicated in the numerous scandals around the sport.

Thanks for dragging a program that actually IS doing things right down into the mud.

Meanwhile, the rest of the pages is a Rick Pitino pity-party. ESPN doesn't have much credibility left, but they sure are trying to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

Try this link instead. The one in the post I quoted goes to an ESPN Customer Service page.

Get the latest NCAA basketball news, scores, stats, standings, and more from ESPN.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

            • I don't get it. Why use a Wichita State picture for the article when Wichita State isn't mentioned anywhere in it?

They wouldn't want to cause any more undue harm and press for the cheaters. Gotta try dragging some others down into the mud. It's horrible journalism, which is getting to be par for the course at ESPN. If you go to the ESPN MBB page, your thought is "Scandals - Wichita State." Good work, toolbags.

                • Nice to see an article where two AAC teams are mentioned as Final Four candidates. Far cry from wondering if your conference will get two teams in the field.

Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

CBS's Kyle Boone joins ESPN's Sean Farnham in guessing that WSU and Cincinnati will both be Final Four teams. Oddly, Jerry Facepalm picked neither.

It’s like the end credits rolling on a terrible movie that was painful to endure. At least it’s over now. But will we ever completely shake it all?...

"Wichita’s move. The decision of Wichita State to accept an invitation from the American Athletic Conference might turn out to be misguided in the end, but for now it invigorates a conference that already had some exceptional teams in place.

The games between Wichita and Cincinnati or Wichita and UConn or Wichita and Central Florida should be compelling, and the media’s respect of the Shockers because of their accomplishments this decade will help the league to gain attention..."
